- Promote the use of R at SUN;

- Regular seminars to discuss R problems; aspects; new packages; ...;

- Special interest group seminars / workshops discussing special usages of R in more detail (genetics, GIS, SQL, ...); and

- Offer seminars on R for departmental seminars
